Earlier this year I lost an old school friend as a result of epilepsy.  Anna was very intelligent, extremely artistic and incredibly funny.  Her knowledge of Carry On films, Columbo and 1970's comedy was second to none! She was a genuine and lovely person and will be missed.  She had lived with epilepsy her entire adult life after being diagnosed at 18 and although I knew it was a serious condition, did not realise it could be fatal.  Her family have chosen to support the charity Epilepsy Action and throughout this year family members and friends have been participating in several events to fundraise.  I will be continuing this by running the Royal Parks Half Marathon in October with my good friend Colette Collins who has also chosen to support the same charity.  So, please help to make our training and the miles a bit easier by donating and also help to improve the lives of those living with epilepsy.  Thank you xx
